Working in a hostel.

It was not my first choice but after 9 months looking for a job in Dublin I realised that I needed get some experience in order to get a good job there then, I sent my CV to a hostel in Northern Ireland to work there as a volunteer.

I can say that it was the best thing that I did.
In fact while I worked in that hostel I met lots of nice people and I could for the first time really speak English, after all, I was the only Brazilian one there.

The world's coolest vending machine

Yes, I found this machine in a pub called Sweeney's in Dublin
The strings cost around €5.00 and you can choose among several types of D'Addario Strings, including electric Guitar, acoustic guitar and Bass.
Also we can find some chocolate in the bottom

It's a amazing place, there are live music on the ground floor and a Dj in the second floor, besides we can drink outside (although it's illegal in Ireland, we can drink in a narrow street behind the pub).
I have been there with Tara, a good american friend who took the picture.

Hey Tara, see you in Alaska.

Following the medical advices

After suffer many years because I had psoriasis I went to a doctor who gave me an advice:
"You need to move to some beach and live a new life least stressed. That is the only way to cure your disease. I can to prescribe any medicines for you, but you have to change your life if you really want to be healthy".
So after I try uncountable treatments, and of course, after I decide to change my life. Here I am.

As my friend Thaisa told me: Healthy

I live in Bushmills, actually on Giant's Causeway.
10 minutes walking on a gorgeous road till the beach.

Society

Oh, it's a mystery to me
We have a greed with which we have agreed
And you think you have to want more than you need
Until you have it all you won't be free

Society, you're a crazy breed
Hope you're not lonely without me

When you want more than you have
You think you need
And when you think more than you want
Your thoughts begin to bleed
I think I need to find a bigger place
Because when you have more than you think
You need more space

The Dark Hedges

The Dark Hedges is a unique stretch of the Bregagh Road near Armoy, in Ireland, that looks like something from a Tim Burton movie. Over the past 300 years or so, the Beech trees guarding either side of the lane have reached up and across to each other, becoming heavily intertwined to create a natural arched tunnel where shadow and light plays through entwined branches.
This beautiful avenue of beech trees was planted by the Stuart family in the eighteenth century. It was intended as a compelling landscape feature to impress visitors as they approached the entrance to their Georgian mansion, Gracehill House, which is now a golf club. Two centuries later, the trees remain a magnificent sight and have become one of the most photographed natural phenomena in Northern Ireland.

Whitepark Bay and Ballintoy Harbour

Whitepark Bay

The stunning, sweeping sandy beach of Whitepark Bay is located in the small village of Ballintoy, County Antrim.
It's a nice plca to enjoy lazy summer days, picnics, sandcastle-making and leisurely strolls along  this spectacular sandy beach which  forms a white arc between two headlands on the North Antrim coast.
Hidden away in a secluded location, it is a perfect destination for a romantic getaway or quiet family holiday. Even on a busy day there is plenty of room for quiet relaxation.

Dunluce Castle

Is a now-ruined medieval castle in Northern Ireland. It is located on the edge of a basalt outcropping in County Antrim (between Portballintrae and Portrush), and is accessible via a bridge connecting it to the mainland. The castle is surrounded by extremely steep drops on either side, which may have been an important factor to the early Christians and Vikings who were drawn to this place where an early Irish fort once stood.

Last ride in Sao Paulo

Riding in Sao Paulo

Meeting Renata Falzoni on Av. Paulista.

I always liked her tv shows and interviews and when I was stoped in the traffic with my bicycle, I thought:
I need take a picture.

Paranapiaba - Camping (Simplao)

I learned that traveling alone can be a great option when you want to meet new people and forget about everyday problems, but when I am traveling by bike, I am never alone. Always I have a good fella with me and also, one that will never complain and even going to the most distant places it will be motivating, saying you will get it !!

The simplao it's a camping near of Paranapiacaba's village, to arrive there it's necessary to take the train up to Rio Grande da Serra and then ride for about 40 minutes until the Paranapiacaba's village. When you get there it's important take a rest and drink some water because now the adventure starts.

Bertioga

Paranapiacaba

Tudo indicava ser apenas um passeio normal de bicicleta em Paranapiacaba, mas esse dia foi realmente especial. Grandes amizades e uma trilha bem lameada.

Bem vindos a Trilha do Inferno.

Video "Subida do pico do Jaragua"

Hello to start this blog I am posting the video of my first cycle adventure:

The idea was to wake up early and go back at lunch, but I got up late and I left home around 11:00 am. The beginning of the ride was quiet without trafic and flat streets.

Then I got to the viaduct that passes over the Anhanguera Highway and then I started my first trip.
